Tablo Dialysis: TPNIES and Home Therapies
How does this new payment which could add $20.00 or more to your reimbursement per treatment change your facility operations or billing? This transitional add-on payment has designated the use of the Tablo dialysis machine by Outset Medical as eligible from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2023. Understanding the use of the Tablo hemodialysis system as it relates to home therapies, single patient use, and the limitation on the number of treatments per month (13 or 14) which a facility can be reimbursed for with TPNIES is important.

The seamless interface also helps with knowing the associated approved additional revenue will be captured. Additionally, our billing interface (Data Xpress) will can contain all necessary information to support other systems such as EPIC, QMS, and more. This practice will be beneficial for all clients regardless of the organizational level at which billing occurs.
